La Verne is a small city in Los Angeles County, encompassing 9.2 square miles with a population of 32,332.  It is approximately 30 miles east of Los Angeles, tucked against the Angeles National Forest to the north and neighbors San Dimas, Pomona and Claremont.  The 210 Freeway crosses the city, making easy access.

La Verne is a "full service city" and
has its own two-station fire departments and police department. The city employees are dedicated to provide citizens with top quality service which has helped to maintain part of the city's unique character.
